this is after i was on the depo-provera shot for 2 years previously.
i feel that caused me to suffer from depression and the doctor put me on lexapro. in september of 2004 i ended up having my gall bladder removed, couple months after that i still was suffering from the same pain i had before i had that surgery. the doctor did a cat-scan of my stomach and found cysts on my ovaries which also had to be removed.
while i was going to have the surgery i said you can just tie my tubes so i couldn’t have any more children since i already have 3. also than i could go off the depo-provera shot. well i had that surgery in april of 2005 and the doctor said it may take a few months for my body to get back to normal. well in august i felt this burst of energy to do things easier now than ever before and felt like i don’t suffer from depression.
well at the same time i was taking the lexapro and i was starting to get sick, nauseated, spaced out, numb, felt like i was walking on air.
i ended up in bed and my husband said i had to stop taking this immediately. i told him i have to check with my doctor because i know they say do not stop immediately. i was taking 20mg, she told me to drop to 15mg for 1 week and than 15mg one day than 10mg rotating and so on.
well i kept getting worse physically and mentally where i had to pull myself off immediately other wise my body was going to keep shutting down and i probably would have died. well it is exactly 4 weeks that i have been off of the lexapro and it has been a nightmare. i have lost all of my sensory system.
